Hi Everyone!
Okay - finally I have made it here to talk a little about me.
I was born in Texas City, Texas but I grew up all over the world. I met my husband in Florida (never thought I'd stay here!) and we have a wonderful daughter. She is my pride above all things. We live in Central Florida across from the Space Center. Florida is truly a beautiful place. And I can't help but love and be inspired by Disney. The Little Mermaid made me cry! Art was something I always loved. I would draw faces on my school paper over and over. I absolutely love pencils. Lately I have been trying colored pencils and I really am enjoying them. I have never taken lessons other than art in grade school. I really wish I had and sometimes think about going back to school. I am hugely inspired by the works of Dali, Boris, Van Gogh, Disney... I could go on and on. Fantasy work of all kinds inspires me. I have links to some of my very favorite artists on my links page. These people are not only wonderful artists, but really nice people. I work with all different mediums. I like watercolor, watercolor pencils, regular color pencils, graphite and charcoal. I also work with acrylics and polymer clay. Mermaids are my favorite (can you tell). I have always loved them and was first intrigued by an animated Little Mermaid I saw when I was a kid on T.V. long before Disney's The Little Mermaid. Such gorgeous fantasy creatures! I plan on working on different fantasy creatures in the future. But I will mainly focus on the female form. I am also a doll artist as well!
